There are a lot of lighting projects that incorporate some form of colour changing feature, such as a Mood Lamp or Sky Cloud or Wall Feature that use RGB LED’s or tape or Pixel tape. These need a colour changing program or sketch, output drivers for high current LED’s and provision for sensors. These will be covered below to use as building blocks.

Mood Lamp With Arduino https://www.instructables.com/id/Mood-Lamp-with-Arduino/ is a project that does a smooth colour fade with RGB leds and has a Light Dependent Resistor to turn it on when it is dark.

The Smooth_Mood_Lamp sketch can be downloaded and imported into the IDE using Sketch>Include Library>Add .Zip Library>Downloads>FXBXRL8H4AGKYTS.zip
